Antiqu, circa 17th century, fabric mesh miser purse. This is a fantastic collectors piece! We love the army green colour and silver metal rings, not to mention the messy little fringe ends!
The ones made in the 17th century often has matching beads on the fringed ends, like this one does. In the Victorian era, they often have different beads. Although, of course, there are discrepancies and miser purses are hard to date exactly.
