It’s almost here, can you feel it? Okay, maybe not, but spring is really not that far away. With winter slowly on its way out and the thrill of spring in the air, the transition from winter to spring style can be challenging. Your jackets will begin to seem too bulky but it may be too cold for your favourite knits. At this unpredictable time of year, it's essential that you have a wardrobe that can seamlessly transition between the extremes. That's easy with a few key pieces that blend function with fashion for when it's not quite spring, but not quite winter, and you've found yourself at your wits' end.
The fall season is officially underway, and for those of you who don’t know, fall is definitely fashion’s favourite season. Rich colours, luxe layering, cozy fabrics – the list goes on and on. While many of us mourn the end of summer, wearing bright and vibrant colours will keep you smiling as we travel through the colder months.
It's no secret that around here, we love a great print. Bright colours, big florals and bold graphics are a few of our favourite things. Whether you embrace them or you're terrified of them, bold prints and patterns belong in every wardrobe.

Although they hardly need an introduction, Poppy Barley is an Edmonton based company changing the face of footwear. From the idea of quality, custom design to transparent manufacturing practices, Poppy Barley is a company that promotes values that we believe in and we have loved watching them grow. For their Spring/Summer '16 collection, they headed to the Edmonton International Airport for a shoot reminiscent of a time when travel was the epitome of luxury and people still dressed to impress. For an authentic retro touch, they incorporated vintage suitcases as well as vintage designer scarves, all from Swish Vintage, into their looks. Click here for a complete look at their S/S '16 shoot.
